Golden Sunset

“The sun dips behind
the jagged hem of the sky
as the day’s last light peeks from
beneath her dusky colors
like a blushing slip of french silk
daring you to watch her walk away –”

On a Delhi road trip last month, I captured some pictures of Delhi including the long roads, the curve, greenery,  birds and clouds…  this short trip makes me realize that traveling through road is a most exciting way to experience the beauty of the journey.

So, Gear up with me for a short trip to Delhi roads and watch Delhi through my eyes, So here we goes…

Floating clouds

Clouds floating so high, adding colors to the sky,

It makes me dreaming, and makes me fly,

Over the cloud, which is so high..

A gloomy Day

The day was astonishing and the end was adverse
Tried to damp down but all in vain
When words lost their meaning,
and egoism was on top

Still the heart says
Hold on!!

Roaring in the agony
Calling at the top of my own voice
setting apart the trail we walked
Cuddled in the dark night, lost and gone

Still the heart says
Hold on!!

It was quick, the way you moved
So casual and so stiff
Leaving behind “Everything”

Still the heart says
Hold on!!

A glimpse of the History

Humayun’s tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. The tomb was commissioned by Humayun’s first wife Haji Begum.

It is located near the crossing of Mathura road and Lodhi road.

Humayun’s tomb

A magnificent Mughal architecture,

Designed with the red stone, standing tall in the squre garden,

And the centered shallow water-channels, makes it look more attractive,

Looks similar to Taj Mahal, with the similar feeling of Love,

One is from the side of wife, and other one from the side of Husband.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Eerie

Inspired from my fellow blogger’s work, I am posting few pictures on the Weekly Photo Challenge: Eerie.

Sometime it feels  that somebody is following you when actually there is no one, it could be a particle of dust or Devil in the form of smoke as shown in the image below:

shh-koi-hai

Shhhhhh… Koi Hai…

Stepping into such dark dome is not easy at all, what would you do if there is no option left..
